NAASR EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
At its annual meeting each November, the NAASR membership annually elects
the members of its Executive Council to positions that are held for between
three and five years. Following the NAASR Bylaws,
the Executive Council also comprises the Nominating Committee.

NAASR OFFICERS, 2007-8
The President and Vice-President each hold their office for a three year
term; the Executive Secretary holds office for a five year term, for a
maximum of two consecutive terms.

NAASR COUNCILORS
The NAASR Council is a working committee. Six councilors are elected by
the general membership for a three year term. The MTSR
representative is appointed ex officio as is the editor for the
Key
Thinkers in the Study of Religion book series (pending Bylaws amendment;
both are non-voting). Two openings among the Councilors therefore occur
each year. The year in which each member cycles off the Executive is listed
below.
