The Bulletin for the Study of Religion is published by Equinox. With the support of a generous donation, NAASR has a working partnership with the Bulletin and the University of Alabama to bring print and online issues to NAASR members.

Historically the journal has published articles that address religion in general, the history of the field of religious studies, method and theory in the study of religion, and pedagogical practices. From 2010 (volume 39), the Bulletin was published in print and, for the first time, online, with a print frequency of 4 issues per volume. The Bulletin is currently edited by Richard Newton at the University of Alabama. Author guidelines can be found here.
